Bobby Beasley is a self-taught creative and documentary photographer based in Hull, UK.

 Headshot of the photographer.

During the day Bobby works in a vintage clothing shop in Hull’s old town, his family business, which has been based in the city centre for over 40 years.

“Carrying my camera with me most days allows me to focus in on the people around me day to day namely family, friends and chance encounters with anything or anyone that catches my eye or imagination along the way.”

“I enjoy working with familiar objects and situations using flash and movement to create a chaotic and sometimes surreal image.”

Bobby has exhibited his work in galleries in Hull, Brighton, Paris, Lille, and Milan.

His images have been displayed in large format on the Paris Metro as part of festival circulations 2021 and in Preston around the bus station and town centre as part of Lancashire Photography Festival in 2023.

This year Bobby had a selection of images displayed in Milan as part of the vogue photo fest and he currently has work displayed in Paul Smith stores in both London and New York.
